1- 8 1s and 4s turn RH (2 bars) and cast down/up (2 bars), 1s+4s turn LH (2 bars) and dance ¾ LH across (2 bars) to end with Men at the top (4M facing 2M/ 1M facing 2L) Ladies at bottom (4L facing 3M/1L facing 3L)
9-24 1s+4s dance "Mairi's Wedding" reels round set (pass LSh in middle) while 2s and 3s dance 2 diagonal reels of 4 dancing ½ LH across in middle. 1s+4s pass partner LSh at end to finish 1M facing 3M, 1L facing 3L, 4M facing 2M, 4L facing 2L
25-32 All dance Reels of 4 across and 1s+4s cross RH at end to 3rd/2nd places
33-40 2s+4s+1s+3s circle 8H round and back

The title of this dance is a witty take on Mairi's Wedding.

The figures also echo those in Mairi's Wedding, except that they are for four dancing couples, not three.
