Scottish Country Dance Instruction

MANSEWOOD REEL (R8x32) 3C (4C set) Linda Gaul Golden Collection

1- 8 1s dance reels of 3 on own sides (1s in and down to start)
9-16 1s+2s turn 1½ times (1s turn between 2s), 1s cast down behind 3s and turn RH to face up in middle while 3s step in to face down
17-24 3s+1s dance Half Rondel:
 3s dance down under the arch made by 1s who dance up, 1s+3s cross (Ladies cross in front of Men) and all cast to meet the other Lady or Man on the opposite side and join nearer hands, 1s+3s set, cross LH
 (3s to own side and 1s end giving RH to 1st corners and LH to partner)
25-32 1s Balance-in-Line with 1st corners as 2nd corners set, 1s Balance-in-Line with 2nd corners as 1st corners set and all turn RH
