Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 2s step up as 1s dance down (briefly nearer hands joined), curving away from each other to end facing each other again, then 1s set
5- 8 1s dance down nearer hands joined, cast up round 3s to finish facing 1st corners
9-12 1s dance ½ Rotating Reel of 4, ending in centre 1M facing up, 1L facing down
9 1s+1st corners pass RSh
10 1st corners twirl (rotate 360 degrees pulling back RSh) as they pass in centre
11-12 1st corners dance out to opposite corner place passing 1s RSh
13-16 1s set advancing, ½ turn 2H, drop hands, pull back RSh to face 2nd corners
17-20 1s+2nd corners repeat 9-12
21-24 1s set, cross RH to 2nd place own side. 312
25-32 3s+1s+2s set, dance RSh round partner to face own sides. All dance out and chase clockwise (2s to top place, 3s to 3rd place) 1s start chase then from top/bottom place they turn RH in centre to end in 2nd place own side
