Milngavie (pronounced "mill-guy", or locally "mull-guy" with the accent on the second syllable) is a town in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland, and a suburb of Glasgow.Located on the Allander Water, it sits at the northwestern edge of Greater Glasgow, about ten kilometres (six miles) from the city center, and is adjacent to Bearsden.
Milngavie is a commuter town, with many residents traveling to Glasgow for work or study. It is served by Milngavie railway station on the North Clyde Line of the SPT rail network, providing direct links to central Glasgow.
