1- 8 1s dance ½ RSh reel of 3 on own sides; 1L followed by 1M dances up behind 2L+3L and 1L crosses to end in 1M original place (2s+3s step down 7-8) (1)32
9-16 1s dance ½ LSh reel of 3 on opposite sides; 1L followed by 1M dances up behind 3M+2M and 1L crosses to end in original place (2s+3s step down on 15-16)
17-24 3s followed by 2s+1s lead down the middle, Ladies turn under Man's arm to change sides and all dance up to places opposite sides. (1)(2)(3)
25-32 All set and cross RH, 1s set facing 2s and change places LH on the sides. 213

Dance Information

Muriel Johnstone, born on 1 June 1947 in West Hartlepool, England, to Scottish parents, is a celebrated Scottish pianist and composer.

Raised in Ardrossan, Ayrshire, she started piano at seven and violin at eight. She was the youngest accompanist for the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society's (RSCDS) Summer School in 1975.

Johnstone has composed over 800 pieces, directed music for RSCDS, and performed worldwide. She operates the Scotscores label and continues to contribute significantly to Scottish traditional music.
