THE MONDAY NIGHT REEL (R6x32) 6C Set John F Rigby 1998 Nine Scottish Country Dances
4, 5s and 6s start on opposite sides

1- 8 1M/6M cast in and cross then cast round 1st corner to face corner while 1L/6L cross and cast then dance ½ Fig of 8 round 2s/5s and end facing 1st corner
(popular variation approved by J Rigby: 1s/6s cast in 1 place (2s/5s step up/down) and cross RH, 1s/6s dance clockwise round 1st corners to end BtoB facing 1st corners)
9-16 1s and 6s dance ½ diagonal reel of 4 with corners, pass RSh to dance ½ reel of 4 with other corners ending 2nd place other side. (3)(1)(2)564
17-24 3s/4s (end couples) cross RH and cast 2 places to middle, 3s+4s dance ½ R&L
25-32 2s+4s also 3s+5s dance ½ R&L, 1s+4s also 3s+6s dance ½ R&L. 412(5)(6)(3)
