1- 4 1L+2M also 3L+4M set and turn 2H 1½ times, 1L+2M face up nearer hands joined, 3L+4M face down nearer hands joined
5- 8 1L+2M dance up while 3L+4M dance down and cast to end in 2nd/4th place opposite sides (2L and 4L step up 5-6). Each man now has partner beside him on right. (Ladies' side: 2L 2M 4L 4M, Men's side: 1M 1L 2M 2L)
9-16 1s+2s also 3s+4s circle 4H round to left, Petronella-in-tandem 1 place anticlockwise to end 1s facing 2s and 3s facing 4s, all set. (2)1(4)3
17-28 All in prom hold dance reel of 4 (12 bars) but 1s and 4s do not pass at end but curve round to face 2s/3s. (2)4(1)3
29-32 2s+4s also 1s+3s dance RH across and all end on sides (2)4(1)3
33-40 2s and 1s dance ½ Figs of 8 round 4s/3s to end on own sides and all turn partners RH (4 bars) 2413
