In exchange for members undertaking an annual outdoor work day involving tasks such as weeding, removing vines, and burning brush, the Branch organised special dance events and a Labour Day picnic.These gatherings were held in and around the old barn located on the Morstein country estate near West Chester, Pennsylvania.
