Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 All turn partners 2H and set, 1s and 4s cross RH and petronella turn to end in line up/down middle (L facing down and M up) as 2s and 3s step down/up
9-12 1s+4s dance ½ reel of 4
13-16 1s+4s turn RH while 2s+3s chase clockwise ½ way and when crossing the set dance ½ RH across with 1s/4s (3 hands across) 1s+4s end in middle
17-24 Repeat bars 9-16, 2s end in 1st place, 3s in 4th place, 1s and 4s in middle of set
25-32 1M and 4L followed by partners dance out ends, cast to right and cross to own sides (order 2143), 1s+4s+3s dance ½ LSh reel of 3 on sides. 2341
