THE OCTOGENARIAN DANCER (S80) Sq.Set Stephen Gibson1- 8 1s and 3s dance Figs of 8 round 2s/4s (1M+3L round 2s, 1L+3M round 4s) dancing out and between 2s/4s to start and end back in original places
9-16 All circle left and back
17-24 2s and 4s dance similar loops:
2L and 4L followed by partner dance anticlockwise loops round 1s/3s (2s round 1s, 4s round 3s) with Men dancing in between the standing couples to take lead, continue dancing anticlockwise round standing couples with Ladies dancing in between the standing couples to meet the other dancing couples
25-32 2s+4s dance RH across and dance out through standing couples (Men passing 1L/3L RSh and Ladies passing 1M/3M RSh) and clockwise to places then dancing couples change places RH
33-40 2s+4s dance Men's Chain
41-56 1s and 3s repeat bars 17-32 (dancing around 2s/4s)
57-64 1s+3s dance Men's Chain
65-72 2s and 4s dance Figs of 8 round 1s/3s (2L and 4M round 1s, 2M and 4L round 3s)
73-80 ALL circle 8H round and back

Ladies leading by turning to the Right and followed by partners, dance round the outside of the set, 2's round 1's and 4's round 3's.
Ladies dance down round the standing Ladies WHILE Men dance through between the couples THEN Men leading dance up followed by partners, and round the standing Men,
finishing by Men dancing round the standing Ladies WHILE Ladies dance through between the couples
25-32 2's and 4's Right Hands Across in the middle of the set then dance back to places (Dancing Men giving Right Shoulder to standing Ladies, and dancing Ladies Right Shoulder to the standing Men) taking 6 bars and on bars 7-8 dancing couples change places giving Right Hands, flowing into...
33-40 2's and 4's Men's chain
41-56 1's and 3's Repeat bars 17-32... flowing into...
57-64 1's and 3's Men's chain
65-72 2's and 4's dance Fig of 8 round the standing 1's and 3's. (2s Lady and 4s Man round 1s; 2s Man and 4s Lady round 3s)
