Dance Notes
This jig, The Other Left, was dedicated to Pat and John Harvey to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2005. Pat can often be heard saying, "The other left", when correcting the dancers in a class she is teaching.Subsequently, this original version of the dance was modified by the Berkhamsted Strathspey and Reel Club (with the approval of the deviser) to remove bars 25-32 (see The Other Left (32 Bar Version)) though the dedicatees strongly prefer this original.
