Over The Heather (Keppie)

  1-8   OVER THE HEATHER AND CROSS TWICE: Right hands joined with partner, dance forward and back using Pas de Basque modified on the 2nd beat where the left foot is in 3rd rear position, then change places with partner: repeat bars 1-4;

  9-16 CHASE, SET AND TURN: Ladies chase halfway clockwise, set to opposite man and turn halfway with right hand;

17-24 REPEAT BARS 9-16 with men chasing halfway to partner, set and turn halfway;

25-32 DO-SI-DO: dance back to back with the person diagonally to the left of starting position, and turn them with a right hand: men end in original places with a new partner.
