Interlinked Chain
3-couple dance in 3- or 4-couple set
1-8 INTERLINKED CHAIN: 1st and 2nd couples dance the interlinked chain: 1st and 2nd couples set and link (4 bars), then 2nd man and 1st woman turn ¾ with right hands AS 1st man and 2nd woman cast up and down respectively (2 bars), and 2nd man and 1st woman cast up and down respectively AS 1st man and 2nd woman turn ¾ with right hands (end with 1st man facing out in 2nd place);
9-16 TANDEM REEL OF 3 WITH 1ST CORNERS: 1st couple dance a Tandem Reel of 3 with 1st corners (start 1st couple passing 2nd man by the right shoulder; 1st couple switch lead at both ends of the reel);
17-24 TANDEM REELS OF 3 WITH 2ND CORNERS: 1st couple dance a Tandem Reel of 3 with 2nd corners (start 1st couple passing 3rd man by the left shoulder; 1st couple switch the lead at both ends of the reel);
25-32 FIGURE OF 8: 1st couple lead down between 3rd couple, cast up, lead up between 2nd couple and cast down one place (OR two places in 3-couple set).
Repeat.
