Scottish Country Dance Instruction
Rachel's Bakery (J8x32) 3C (4C set) 32 Bar Jig For 3 Couples In A 4 Couple Set, Trudy Roughgarden1-4 1st couple, giving right hands, turn once round, cast off one place. (2nd couple stepping up)
5-8 1st couple, giving left hands, turn 1¼. End in center back to back, 1W facing up, 1M facing down
9-16 All Set (as in crown triangles):
1st couple turn the person on their right (2 bars) (1M/3M and 1W/2W)
All dance ½ reel of 3 on the sides (1W giving left shoulder to 3W, 1M giving left shoulder to 2M)
1st couple ends ½ reel back in same crown triangle position)
(3's are now at top of set, 2's at bottom)
17-24 All Set (as in crown triangles):
1st couple turn the person on their left
1M/2W at bottom of set, 1W/3M at top)
All dance ½ reel of 3 on the sides (Right shoulder)
1st couple ending in 2nd place
(order is now 213 with 1's on opposite sides)
25-28 1st couple dance a half Fig of 8 up around the 2's
29-32 1st couple, joining hands on the sides with the 2nd and 3rd couples, Advance and Retire
Repeat having passed a couple
