Dance Notes

25-32 Following the 2-bar turn into allemande hold, it is ill-advised, even for 2 couples, to attempt to dance allemande in 6 bars rather than 8 bars as formally prescribed; instead, dance the first 5 bars of the inverted form of the knot for 2 couples, without releasing allemande hold, and then the last 3 bars of allemande.

(Dance notes by Reuben Freemantle)
