Dance Information

In September/October 2022 Damon and I travelled to Perth to attend and for me to teach at Winter School, and Damon to MC. After the school we travelled to Adelaide to both teach a class and to spend a week in this very pretty city.

For my class in Adelaide, I taught several of my dances and one dance "The Genteel Weasel" the Adelaide Thursday group performed an adapted version of the dance on their final night dressed up as Weasels. They sent us a YouTube of the dance which was delightful. I so liked the music they used and the clever way they had altered the dance, for the demo that I incorporated these two features into this new dance as a thank you to the Adelaide group of dancers.

The Adelaide group named the dance.

Recommended tune: Forget Me Knot, track 3 on CD: Heather Hills by Mara Shea and Dave Wiesler.
