Return To Thimble Cottage (R4x32) Sq.Set Susan M Johnston

1-8 1L followed by 1M dance alternating tandem reel of 3 with 4M and 2L, giving LSh to 4M to begin, while 3L3M dance similarly with 2M and 4L. All finish in original places facing inwards.
9-16 All advance, clap, retire; all dance DosiDos with partners.
17-24 Repeat bars 1-8, with 2L2M reeling with 1M3L, and 4L4M with3M1L, LSh to begin.
25-28 1M2L and 1L2M swap diagonally RSh, while 3M4L and 3L4M swap diagonally RSh; all pass partners LSh. Finish facing inwards.
29-32 1M3L and 1L3M cross, passing RSh; 1C and 3C pass partners LSh.

Finish 2,3,4,1. Repeat from new positions.

Dance Information

Devised to mark the return to Thimble Cottage, West Heath, Hampshire of Margaret Turner with her mother Barbara and sister Lesley following Covid19 lockdown in Sheffield, and to celebrate reunion with fellow Tadley SCD members in her garden after 5 months without meeting due to the pandemic.

The dance involves no touching of hands to help with social distancing.
