Strathspey
1- 8 All circle 8H round to right and back
9-16 All dance double Ladies' Chain, Men stay facing out
17-32 All dance full reverse Schiehallion reels, end facing partner
33-40 All set, ¾ turn LH and reverse ½ reel of 4 (start by passing LSh)
41-48 All set, turn partner 2H anticlockwise 1½ times and set
49-56 All dance reverse ½ reel of 4 (start by passing LSh), set and 3/3 turn LH to face corner
57-64 All dance Grand Chain starting by giving RH to corner, end facing partner

Reel
Dance the figures of the Strathspey 'in reverse' as follows:
1- 8 All dance Grand Chain, end facing partner
9-16 All set, ¾ turn RH and ½ reel of 4
17-24 All set, turn partner 2H clockwise (skip change) 1½ times and set
25-32 All dance ½ reel of 4, set and ¾ turn RH, Ladies stay facing out
33-48 All dance full Schiehallion reels, Ladies stay facing out
49-56 All dance double Men's Chain
57-64 All circle 8H round and back
