THE ROAD TO KINGOLDRUM (S8x32) 3C (4C set) S M Foote

1- 2 1L casts down 2 places while 3M casts up 2 places while 1M+3L pass RSh to end 3Ms and 1Ls place. 321
3- 4 1L and 3M cross to opposite sides while 1M and 3L cast back to original places
5- 6 1M and 3L cross to opposite sides while 1L and 3M cast up/down 2 places
7- 8 1s and 3s cross RH to places. 123
9-16 1s+2s RH across and dance ½ Diamond Poussette with 1s ending between 1st corners but facing partner
17-20 1s set advancing (pass LSh) to 1st corners, turn corners 2H and end between 2nd corners (facing partner)
21-24 1s set advancing to 2nd corners and turn 2H to end in centre on opposite sides (1L facing down on Man's side and 1M facing up on Ladies' side)
25-32 1s ½ RH across with corners, 1s dance round each other RSh 1½ times and dance LH across ½ way on own sides to end in 2nd place

Kirkton of Kingoldrum is just to the west of Kerriemuir, to the north of Dundee, Scotland.
"Kirkton or Kirktoun" is Scots for "a village or hamlet with a parish church".
