Dance Information

This dance, Salute To Mrs Mac, was devised on Monday 15 August 2016 to celebrate my mother's 105th birthday on Sunday 30 October 2016. She was always called Mrs Mac by her friends and colleagues.

Salute to Mrs Mac featured on the programme of dance held on December 7, 2019 as a tribute to Maureen Robson, who is taking semi-retirement after 38 years tutoring the Tawa SCD Club in Wellington, New Zealand. The MC for this dance was Philippa Pointon, who tutors the Linden SCD Club.

Recommended recorded music - "Set of Reels", track 9 on "Belfast Branch Diamond Jubilee Dances" played by Marian Anderson's Scottish Dance Band.
