Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 1L+3M advance towards partner, pull back RSh to face own side (2 bars), 1L and 3M followed by partners chase clockwise ½ round (behind 2s) to end in line of 4 up/down centre, 3s at top, 1s at bottom, Men facing up, Ladies facing down
9-14 3s+1s dance a modified ½ reel of 4 (6 bars): as normal reel but when 1M reaches top and 3L reaches bottom they curve into their partners' places, partners follow to finish opposite
15-16 1s+3s ½ turn partner RH back to original places
17-24 1s+2s set and link (1M no polite turn but faces out/down); 1s+3s turn LH. 213
25-32 1s set and cast to 4th place (3s+4s step up 27-28); All 4 couples turn RH. 2341
