The Settling Of The Logs - Scottish Country Dancing Instruction VideoDance Information
The dance was composed for Aron Faegre, who introduced a ceremony known as the Settling of the Logs, a little-known tradition required for the proper construction of a log building.Led by the architect, the ceremony involves around one hundred violins and cellos playing together to create vibrations that help the logs of the lodge settle firmly into place.
