Scottish Country Dance Instruction

THE SHINE NEVER GOES OUT (S8x32) 3C (4C set) Shoko Okumura

1- 4 1s dance in and cast 1 place, dance in to end facing each other in the middle,1L facing down, 1M facing up (2s step up 3-4)
5- 8 1s set, pull back RSh, cast out to 2nd place own sides while 2s+3s chase ½ way clockwise. (3)1(2)
9-12 1M+3L and 1L+2M set and link. 3L and 2M finish facing out
13-14 1s dance round each other RSh while 1st corners (3L and 2M) cast 1 place clockwise (3L up, 2M down)
15-16 1s dance to 2nd place own sides while 3L and 2M finish in the middle (3L in 1st place, 2M in 3rd place). Then 1s, 3L and 2M pull back RSh to face anti-clockwise (LSh to centre of set)
17-18 1s+1st corners set while 2nd corner (3M and 2L) change places passing RSh to end facing out
19-20 1s+1st corners dance into centre passing LSh, curve out to next place round clockwise, pull RSh back to face anti-clockwise while 2nd corners chase ¼ way clockwise to next corner place
21-24 1s+1st corners and 2nd corners repeat bars 17-20 to finish 1s in 2nd place opposite sides, 2M in middle in 1st place facing down, 3L in middle in 3rd place facing up, 2L in 1st place own side and 3M in original place
25-28 2M+1s+3L set, 2M and 3L Petronella turn to own sides while 1s Petronella turn into middle
29-32 1s set and Petronella turn to own sides. 213
