Scottish Country Dance Instruction

SILVER CHAINS (R5x32) 5C Circle Dorothy Bell Ness House 1
5 couples in circle

1- 8 All set to partners, dance Grand Chain 2 places set and dance Grand Chain 2 places (all now face person who was next to them originally)
9-16 All turn LH 1¼ times and Ladies dance RH across while Men dance round anticlockwise all to original places
17-24 Holding nearer hands with partner advance and retire, advance 1 step drop hands, ½ turn RH and dance on 1 place clockwise
25-32 All circle 10H round and back
