THE SILVER SANDS OF ISLAY (J8x40) 3C (4C set) Eric Finley 25th Anniversary Islay's Weekend Course

1- 8 1s lead down and turn 1½ times RH to end 2nd place (in middle facing opposite sides), 1s dance LH across (1L with 2M+3M, 1M with 2L+3L)
9-16 1s dance RH across with other side, 1s turn LH and cast left on own side to face 1st corners
17-24 1s dance reels of 3 across (1L with 2s, 1M with 3s) and end in diagonal line with 1st corners
25-32 1s dance the Spoke ¾ way and turn LH into 2nd place own side
33-40 All circle 6H round to left for 4 steps and Ladies continue to circle left as Men circle to right (outside Ladies), all circle 6H round to right

Dance Information

Loch Indaal is a sea loch on the island of Islay (pronounced "eye-lah"), the southernmost of the Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland.

The East of the loch is taken up by the six mile length of the Big Strand, the area as a whole being known as Laggan Bay.
