THE SILVER TRIUMPH (J3x32) 3C Triangular set Stuart Adams RSCDS Edinburgh 100th Anniversary

1- 4 All Petronella turn (Ladies face out of the set and Men face in) and all set, all pulling back RSh to face clockwise, Ladies joining RH, giving LH to partner
5- 8 All dance RH across ⅔ round and face partner
9-12 All set, ¾ turn partner LH finishing with all Ladies joining RH
13-16 Ladies dance RH across ⅔ round while Men cast to partner's original place and meet "new partner". All turn new partner ¾ LH
17-24 All repeat bars 13-16 twice from new positions to end facing original partner. 231
25-32 All dance Grand Chain (1 bar per hand), All turn partner RH (pivot turn). 231

Dance Information

This dance was devised by Stewart Adam, who has previously served as Chairman of both the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society and its Edinburgh Branch, and is also a founding member of the Dunedin Dancers.

It was created in 2015 to mark the silver wedding anniversary of Brian and Elizabeth Harry, and its first performance was received with considerable success and published in "14 New Dances and Tunes Celebrating the Centenary of RSCDS Edinburgh Branch".
