Skatie Shore - Scottish Country Dancing Instruction VideoDance Information
This strathspey, Skatie Shore, was devised to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Stonehaven RSCDS Branch; the original tune is by Sir Jimmy Shand who, like the deviser, Sandra French, originated from Auchtermuchty. The Highland fault-line passes from along the Skatie Shore in Stonehaven in the east, to Helensburgh in the west, dividing Scotland into the Highlands and the Lowlands.
