Sleepless In Strichen (R5x40) 5-Couple Straight Set. Andrew Roberts

1- 8 1s, 2s and 3s dance Inveran Reels while 4s and 5s dance Rights and Lefts.
9-10 All set, but with 1L, 5M setting turning to face out.
11-16 1M chases 1L clockwise to 5th place on opposite side while 5L chases 5M clockwise to 1st place on opposite side. Meanwhile 2M, 4L change places giving right hands, followed by 2L, 4M and then 3M, 3L [ending (5), (4), (3), (2), (1)].
17-32 Repeat bars 1-16 from the opposite end (i.e., as though the band was now at the other end of the hall) [ending 1, 2, 3, 4, 5].
33-36 1s, 2s and 3s dance half 3-couple Rights and Lefts* while 4s and 5s dance half Rights and Lefts [ending (3), (2), (1), (5), (4)].
37-40 1s, 5s and 4s dance half 3-couple Rights and Lefts* while 3s and 2s dance half Rights and Lefts [ending 2, 3, 4, 5, 1].

Dance Notes

* For half 3-couple Rights and Lefts, top-man position, middle-lady position, middle-man position and bottom-lady position (in the group of 3) dance half-diagonal Rights and Lefts while top-lady position and bottom-man position set and then change places giving left hands.
