SNOW ON THE MOUNTAIN (J8x32) 3C (4C set) Lara Friedman-Shedlov White Rose of Scotland

1- 8 1s cross RH, cast to 2nd place and dance ½ Fig of 8 (1L round 2s and 1M round 3s) ending BtoB facing own sides (2s up)
9-16 2s+1s+3s dance Petronella Double Triangles:
 1s dance normal Double Triangles and end BtoB Lady facing up and Man down while corners set, petronella on 1 place anticlockwise, set and petronella on 1 place anticlockwise
17-24 1L+3s (at top) dance RH across while 1M+2s dance RH across, 3M followed by 3L+1L also 2L followed by 2M+1M chase clockwise ½ way
25-32 2s+1s+3s circle 6H round and back

This jig, Snow On The Mountain, was devised by Lara Friedman-Shedlov in 2003 for Audrey McClellan's novel "The White Rose Of Scotland", the second of the three love stories about life on the fictional island of Eilean Dubh.
