Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1-8 All set (bars 1-2) and women dance right hands across in the center (bars 3-6) then turn partner with the left hand back to place (bars 7-8)
9-16 All set and men dance left hands across in the center then turn partner with the right hand to end shoulder to shoulder in the center with partners in promenade hold
17-24 Dance a four couple tournee - dance ¾ of the way around (bars 17-19), retain right hands and turn the women into the center to end with the women facing counter clockwise and men facing clockwise (bar 20), all turn 1 ¼ times to end with woman facing out and man facing in (bars 21-24)
25-32 Dance half of a Schiehallion reel to end in progressed places
