Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 1s dance in, cast to 2nd place (2s step up bars 3-4); 1s dance up nearer hands joined, cast to 2nd place and face 4th corner
9-16 1s dance ½ diagonal RSh reel of 4 with 4th corners, pass RSh; 1s dance diagonal RSh reel of 4 with 1st corners, ending 1L between 3s at the top,1M between the 2s
17-20 All set, 1s cast into 2nd place while 3s and 2s change places RH on the side (3M and 2L curling into place)
21-24 1s turn 2H 1½ times as 2s and 3s turn 2H once round
25-32 All chase clockwise ½ round; all dance RSh round partner

17-24 All join hands and set, 1s cast into 2nd place WHILE 3s and 2s change places RH on the side (3M,2L curling into place). 1s turn 2H 1½ times as 2s and 3s turn 2H round once.
25-32 All chase clockwise halfway. All dance a Gypsy Turn with partner (as if dancing a RH turn but without giving hands).
