THE STAFFORD RUBY REEL (R4x40) 4C Set Stafford and District Caledonian Society

1-12 2s and 3s dance "Stafford Knot":
 1- 4 2s cross up LH while 3s cross down RH, 2s cast down as 3s cast up
 5- 8 2s and 3s cross RH with partner, 2s cast up as 3s cast down
 9-12 2s+3s change places RH on sides
13-16 3s+2s circle 4H ½ round to left, circle breaking so 2s and 3s end on opposite sides. 1(3)(2)4
17-32 All dance Grand Chain (1s and 4s cross RH, 2s and 3s change places RH on sides to start)
33-36 All set, 1s+3s also 2s+4s dance ½ RH across. 3(1)(4)2
37-40 1s dance ½ Fig of 8 up round 3s while 4s dance ½ Fig of 8 down round 2s. 3142
41-80 Repeat with new 2s and 3s leading (End 4321 - original numbering)
81-120 Repeat with original 3s and 2s leading (End 2413 - original numbering)
121-160 Repeat with original 4s and 1s leading. All end in original places
