STARRY NIGHT GLOW (S8x32) 3C (4C set) Shoko Okumura

1- 8 1s dance in and cast 1 place (2s step up bars 3-4). 1s dance down between 3s and cast up to 2nd place. 213
9-10 2s+1s+3s cross RH. (1M+2s facing down and 1L+3s facing up)
11-12 1s dance small clockwise circle in place (2 small travelling steps) while 2s change places with 3s on the sides passing 1s RSh on the sides. All face clockwise
13-16 3s+1s+2s chase ½ way clockwise. 1s finish facing 1st corners
17-22 2s+1s+3s dance "Corners pass and turn ¼ round":
 17-18 Centre dancers change places with corners while corners dance in and turn 1¼ RH to face next corner position, corners not moving face diagonally in and set
 19-22 repeat bars 17-18 twice
23-24 2s+3s chase clockwise ¼ way round set while 1s follow 1st corner persons. (3)1(2)
25-32 3s+1s+2s dance Diagonal R&L (Man down/Lady up). 213

Starry Night Glow (S8x32) 32-bar strathspey for three couples in a four-couple longwise set, Shoko Okumura, 2022.

1- 8 1st couple dance in towards each other and cast off one place. On bars, 3-4, 2nd couple step up. 1st couple, giving nearer hands, dance down the middle below 3rd couple and cast up one place.
9-10 2nd, 1st and 3rd couples, giving right hands, cross over. Finish on opposite sides, men facing down and women facing up.
11-12 1st couple, using two small travelling steps, make a clockwise small circle on the spot.
 At the same time, 2nd man and 3rd man, giving right shoulders to 1st man, change places; 2nd woman and 3rd woman, giving right shoulders to 1st woman, change places. 3rd man and 2nd woman pull right shoulder back to start. All finish facing clockwise.
 Finish in the order 3,1,2, all on opposite sides.
13-16 3rd, 1st and 2nd couples chase halfway. 1st couple finish facing first corners.
17-22 2nd, 1st and 3rd couples dance "corners pass and turn one and a quarter round": (See Dance Notes)
 17-18 1st woman with 2nd man and 1st man with 3rd woman, passing by the right, change places. On bar 18, 1st couple dance out to corner positions to face in and first corners in the centre, giving right hands, turn one and a quarter round to finish right shoulder to right shoulder facing second corner positions.
 At the same time, second corners, facing diagonally, set.
 19-22 Repeat bars 17-18 twice.
23-24 2nd and 3rd couples chase clockwise a quarter round the set. At the same time, 1st couple follow first corner persons. Finish in the order 3,1, 2, with 3rd and 2nd couples on opposite sides.
25-28 1st couple with 3rd woman and 2nd man dance half rights and lefts on the diagonal.
29-32 1st couple with 3rd man and 2nd woman dance half rights and lefts on the diagonal.
Repeat, having passed a couple.

Dance Notes

"Corners pass and turn one and a quarter round"
Repeat following three types of two bars movement:
 Dancers in the centre facing corners, passing the corners by the right shoulders, dance out and finish in the corner positions facing in.
 Meanwhile, corners facing dancers in the centre, passing by the right shoulder with the centre dancers, move to the centre for one bar, then on the next bar, giving right hands, turn one and a quarter round quickly, to finish right shoulder to right shoulder in the centre facing next corner positions located one place clockwise.
 Meanwhile, the remaining corners, facing diagonally, set.
