Scottish Country Dance Instruction

The Stars Around Us 8x32 Strathspey for 3C Sue McKinnell

1- 8 1C turn RH once round in 4 bars then 1W followed by 1M cast off 1 place and across the set to opposite sides in 2nd place. 2C step up on bars 7-8.
9-16 Set and link for 3 couples twice.
17-24 Snowball grand chain: 3C (top) cross RH to begin. All changes take 2 bars.
25-32 All set then turn partners both hands 1½ in 4 bars. All set.

Repeat.

Dance Information

I was reading about some amazing new pictures of the universe that are showing us, so I named this dance for my sense of amazement at what is out there.

Suggested music is Strathglass House from Delaware Valley Spring Ball 2003 by Keith Smith and Muriel Johnstone.
