THE SUNLIT SQUARE (S64) Sq.Set John Drewry Bankhead Book 4

1- 8 All set to corners and dance La Baratte:
 Men ½ turn opposite Lady RH and retains hand but at arms length from each other, Men retrace steps with Lady turning right under Man's arm briefly into Allemande hold (Man behind Lady facing Lady's original place) and releasing Lady's RH she turns under Man's left arm until almost in original places and couples change place LH to opposite positions and face in towards the middle of the set i.e. 1M in 2nd Lady's place is facing 3L in 4th Man's place and so on
9-16 All turn opposite person ½ round with RH and remain facing this person Pulling R shoulder back all dance on 1 place (M clockwise, L anticlockwise) passing next person by RSh to meet own partners ½ way round set All turn partners LH 1½ times to face corner again
17-32 Repeat bars 1-16 from new places to return to original places and face in
33-40 1s+3s dance LH across 1¼ times and end in prom hold, 1s promenade round 4s and 3s round 2s passing by RSh to return to original places
41-48 2s+4s repeat above Fig 2s dancing round 1s and 4s round 3s
49-56 All join nearer hands with partners and set, advance into middle and retire with corners to corner position and set
57-64 All circle 8H round to left, turn partners 2H and open out to circle 8H round to left to original places
