THE TABLET MAKER'S REEL (R4x40) Sq.Set Lewis N Derrick 75 years of Dancing in St Andrews 2010

1- 8 1s dance Fig of 8, 1M round 4s, 1L round 2s, 1L crossing ahead of 1M to begin, 1s ending in partner's place
9-12 1s set, ½ turn 2H to end on sides facing in
13-16 1s+3s dance ½ R&L, (omit polite turn) and finish facing 2s+4s
17-24 1s+2M+4L, also 3s+2L+4M, dance reels of 4 across set (all pass corner RSh to start). Bar 24 1s+3s join LH as they pass (Men polite turn)
25-28 1s+3s dance LH across ¾ round to finish with 1s facing 4s and 3s facing 2s
29-32 1s+3s pass 4s+2s RSh, dance out and chase clockwise to places
33-40 1s+2s+3s+4s circle 8H round and back

Repeat with new couple leading (2s, 3s then 4s) When 2s and 4s lead, reels of 4 will be up/down set
