TANDEM TO ANVIL (J8x32) 3C (4C set) Val Dawson, 2009

1- 8 1s cross RH, cast (2s step up); 1s turn 1½ LH
9-16 1L+2L+3L and 1M+2M+3M dance RH across; 1s turn 1½ LH
17-24 1M followed by 1L dances out between 2L and 3L, cast right, dances across and out between 2M and 3M, casts up into centre 2nd place in prom hold (1L on 1M's right) while 2s+3s dance R&L. 2s face down, 3s face up nearer hands joined
25-32 2s and 3s make arches, 1s dance down under arch made by 3s, divide, cast up, meet in prom hold, dance up under arch made by 2s, 1s cross and all cast, 1s to 2nd place own side, 2s into 1st place, 3s cast up into 3rd place. 213

This jig, Tandem To Anvil, was devised by Val Dawson (RSCDS Cornwall Branch) to celebrate the marriage of Frank and Helen Davenport who rode a tandem push-bike from their home in Cornwall, to Gretna Green for their wedding and back.
