Located on the upper level of Clothier Hall at Swarthmore College (500 College Avenue, Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA) a large communal room features exposed wooden beams and high-reaching windows, giving the Tarble space a distinctive character.

Housed within a neo-Gothic structure built from grey stone, this expansive interior has long served as the college's primary indoor venue for social events.

Over the years, it has hosted numerous dances, including seasonal celebrations such as Spring Balls, Hogmanay events, and the annual English-Scottish Ball organised by the Swarthmore Folk Dance Club.

Swarthmore College is a private liberal arts institution located in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It was established in the 19th century and has maintained a non-sectarian identity, although it was originally founded by members of the Religious Society of Friends, also known as Quakers.
