Scottish Country Dance Instruction

THAT CERTAIN SOMEONE (S8x32) 3C (4C Set) Pam Stephens

1- 4 1s ½ turn 2H, dance down 1 place nearer hands joined to face 1st corners (2s step up 3-4)
5-16 Dance to Corners and Set: (12 bars)
Couple in middle change places with corners passing RSh, corners pass RSh in middle with a ¼ turn to right to face next corner while supporting corners set (2 bars). Repeat 5 more times to end with corners in diagonally opposite place and 1s finish facing 3rd corner (pstn)
17-24 1s turn 3rd corner (pstn) RH, partner LH, turn 4th corner (pstn) RH and turn partner LH to 2nd place opposite sides. (3)(1)(2)
25-32 All set, circle 6H ½ round to left and set. 213

32-bar strathspey for three couples in a four-couple longwise set

1- 4 1st couple turn with both hands halfway, then dance down one place, nearer hands joined, and open to face 1st corners. 2nd couple step up on 3-4
5-16 Dance to corners and set. 1st couple end passing right shoulder to face 3rd corner position (1st corner person)
17-24 1st couple dance turn corners and partner with people in 3rd and 4th corner positions and end in 2nd place on opposite sides. (3)(1)(2)
25-32 All set, circle six hands halfway round, and set.

Repeat having passed a couple.
