Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 1s+4s take nearer hand with partners and couples dance towards each other and set. (2s and 3s step up or down on 3-4)
5- 8 Retaining hands with partners. 1s+4s pass each other LSh and turn top and bottom couples with appropriate hand onto side lines. 2413
9-16 4L and 1L followed by partners dance between end couples, round end Ladies, across between end couples, round end Men to finish on own sides.
17-24 2s+4s+1s dance the Knot to finish on own sides, Ladies facing up, Men down.
25-32 1s+4s+2s chase anticlockwise ½ way to opposite sides and cross over giving L hand and set. 2413
