Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 2M dances ½ Solo R&L with 2L and 1L (i.e. 2M+2L cross RH then 2M+1L change place on a side)
5- 8 1M repeats (crossing with 2M and changing places with 1L), 1M ends facing out
9-16 1s+2s dance Ladies' Chain. All finish on 2nd corner diagonal, Men join RH in the middle and LH with partner
17-24 1s and 2s dance the Spiral:
 17-18 All Balance-in-Line, ladies turn left about to face clockwise
 19-20 All in diagonal line rotate ¼ way clockwise, men drop LH
 21-22 Ladies dance across to opposite line, men half turn RH
 23-24 Men continue turn to finish in lines. 2(1)3
25-32 2s+1s+3s circle 6H round to left for 6 bars and 1s cross RH to own side as 2s and 3s set to partner. 213
