1- 8 1s turn RH, dance down and dance ½ Fig of 8 round 3s
9-16 1s dance ½ Fig of 8 round 2s and turn LH 1¼ times to face 1st corners
17-24 1s diagonal reel of 4 with 1st corners, pass RSh and end facing 2nd corners
25-32 1s dance reels of 3 on opposite sides (RSh to 2nd corners) end passing RSh to 2nd place own sides

Dance Information

Hopetoun House, one of Scotland's finest stately homes, is the traditional residence of the Earl of Hopetoun (later the Marquess of Linlithgow (pronounced "lin-lith-go")). Located near South Queensferry to the west of Edinburgh, Scotland, it was built 1699-1701 and designed by Sir William Bruce.
