Reel 4 x 40 bars 4 Couple Repeat 4 Couple Set Longwise Set
1-8 SET AND WHEEL: 1st and 2nd couples Set and Spring (Pas de Basque and Spring onto right foot with left foot in 3rd position, Spring onto left foot with right foot in 3rd position, Spring onto right foot with left foot in 3rd position and then Spring onto left foot with right foot in 3rd position), and dance right hands across in a wheel (N.B. Set twice can be substituted for Set and Spring);
9-16 SET AND WHEEL: 1st and 2nd couples Set and Spring and dance left hands across in a wheel (1st man finishes facing out);
17-24 CHASE: 1st man casts off three places and begins to cross over below 4th couple followed by his partner, then join nearer hands in the middle below 4th couple and begin to dance up the middle;
25-28 TEAPOTS: 1st woman dances left hands across with 2nd and 3rd men, AS 1st man dances right hands across with 2nd and 3rd women;
29-32 UP MIDDLE: 1st couple followed by 3rd and 2nd couples dance up the middle nearer hands joined; at the end of bar 32 1st couple turns to face down and 3rd and 2nd couples begin to separate;
33-36 TEAPOTS: 1st woman dances right hands across with 3rd and 2nd men AS 1st man left hands across with 2nd and 3rd women; (4th couple steps up one place on bars 33-34);
37-40 DOWN MIDDLE: 1st couple followed by 3rd and 2nd couple dance down the middle nearer hands joined: 2nd and 3rd couple end on their own side in 1st and 2nd places, respectively, as 1st couple crosses into 4th place on their own side.
