Scottish Country Dance Instruction

WE TWA ENCORE (S8x32) 3C (4C set) Moira Stacey

1- 8 1s set advancing and turn 2H, dance down middle and cast to 2nd place own sides
9-16 1s set advancing to 1st corners and turn 2H to end between 2s/3s, set advancing to 2nd corners and turn 2H to end 2nd place opposite sides
17-24 1s cross RH and cast to right, cross RH up/down and cast to right to end in 2nd place own sides while 2s+3s set and dance RH across ½ way twice
25-32 2s+1s dance Diamond Poussette

We Twa' Encore A Strathspey for 3 couples by Moira Stacey

1-8 1st couple set advancing and turn with both hands to face down the dance on own sides. They dance down the middle and cast up round 3rd couple into 2nd place own sides.
9-16 1st couple set advancing to 1st corners, who set back, and turn 1st corners with both hands, finish 1st woman between 2nd couple facing down, 1st man between 3rd couple facing up. Repeat setting and turning with 2nd corners, finishing between corners.
17-24 1st couple cross giving right hands and cast to the right to face up and down the dance, cross giving right hands and cast to the right finishing in 2nd place own sides. While 2nd and 3rd couples set and dance right hands across half way round, twice.
25-32 2nd and 1st couples all round poussette.

Repeat from second place.
