Welcome To Nerja - Scottish Country Dancing Instruction VideoDance Information
There are five big arches at the entrance on the old road welcoming visitors into Nerja. This gave the inspiration for the dance. When David and I (Betty MacKenzie) first went to live in Spain in 2003, I devised the dance as a thank you to Jean Rennie, teacher of the Nerja Group, for making us so welcome.(Dance information by the deviser, Betty MacKenzie)
Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is on the country's southern Mediterranean coast, about 50 km east of Málaga.
