Jig 3 x 40 bars 3 Couple Repeat 3 Couple Set Longwise Set

  1-2   1s turn by the right;

  3-4   1s cast;

  5-8   1s turn by the left to finish 1L facing 2M, 1M facing 2L;

  9-16 2M1L1M2L reel of 4 across;

17-24 1s turn corner, partner, corner, partner, finishing 1L facing 3M, 1M facing 3L;

25-32 3M1L1M3L reel of 4 across, finishing at the starting position;

33-36 3M1L 1M3L turn by the right, 3s finishing in 2nd place (3L turn on the spot to finish);

37-40 1s turn by the left, finishing in 3rd place.

Dance Notes

  1-40 Keep the set wide so that the dancing couple have space to start the reels neatly with the right shoulder.

  1-2   A quick turn (elbow grip).

  3-4   2s step up by going diagonally inward and then outward.

  5-8   A normal long arm turn.

    -16 2s finish the reel of 4 across in 1st place.

17-22 Quick turns (elbow grip).

23-24 A more open grip to avoid going too far in this turn.

33-40 These are the changed movements; use long arm grip for these turns.
