Xs And Os 4x32 Jig for 4C (Square Set) by Sue McKinnell1-4 1C and 3C dance a half ladies' chain.
5-8 1W followed by 3M dance behind 2C and dance into set, 1W pass outside 2W, 3M pass between 2C; end facing partners in the center of the dance. 3W and 1M dance a similar track behind 4C.
9-16 1C and 3C dance Poussette; on the last 2 bars, 1M turns over LS and dances to 3W position, 1W follows to 3M position, 3M does similarly to end in 1W position, 3W to 1M position.
17-18 1C and 3C turn ½ way LH.
19-22 2C and 4C dance ½ rights and lefts, beginning by giving RH to the person across the dance.
23-24 All 4 couples set.
25-32 All turn partners RH once round in 2 bars, turn corner LH once round in 2 bars, turn partner RH into promenade position in 2 bars, then promenade CCW one place.
Repeat 4 times.
