1- 8 All 8 couples set and cross RH (middle lines face each other), middle couples turn LH ending with 1s and 3s facing down, 2s and 4s up and all set
9-16 All repeat bars 1-8 back to original places. Both sets 1234
17-24 Each set dances ½ Grand Chain into ½ reels of 4 on sides. Both sets (1)(2)(3)(4)
25-32 All dance ½ reels of 4 across both sets and 1s turn 2H moving down to bottom (other 6 couples take nearer hands and step up bars 31-32) Both sets in exchanged places, 2341
