Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 All dance 8H round and Back
9-16 1s and 3s turn opposite person RH to end 1M and 3L facing 2s also 1L and 3M facing 4s. 2s+4s make arch and dancing couples lead out RH, divide and dance back to original places
17-24 2s and 4s repeat bars 9-16
25-32 All face partners and dance interlocking reels of 4 passing partner RSh to begin and to finish Ladies facing out and men facing in
33-36 All join RH hands with partner. Men dance 4 pas-de-basque on the spot, rotating ¼ turn on each step while Ladies dance clockwise back to place to finish facing out
37-40 All dance 4 bars of Schiehallion reels to progress one place anticlockwise
