Scottish Country Dance Instruction
Come Wi' Me 3x32 bar Strathspey and/or Jig, 3-couple longways sets, devised by Duncan and Maggie Keppie, Published in Keppie Scottish Dance Heritage1-8 SET, CAST and RIGHT HAND WHEEL: 1st couple set, cast off one place and dance right hands across with 2nd couple;
9-16 HAND-IN-HAND REELS OF 3: 2nd, 1st, and 3rd couples dance Hand-in-Hand reel of 3, starting with 2nd and 1st couples passing right shoulders (this reel is performed by dancing a reel of 3 nearer hands joined with partner when dancing up or down the reel and changing hands at the top and bottom of the reel as one reverses direction staying on your own side)
17-24 WHEELS: 1st and 2nd couples dance right hand wheel, then 1st and 3rd couple dance left hand wheel;
25-32 CHASE: 1st man chased by 1st woman casts up, dances across top and casts to 3rd woman's place and crosses to 3rd man's place.
SUGGESTED REPEATS 3 TIMES IN STRATHSPEY TEMPO FOLLOWED BY 3 TIMES IN JIG TEMPO
